Human Behaviour
My work reflects the human constructed environment, dominated by structure, control and power,a place where nature is given little importance. The paintings are essentially collages of dried acrylic paint skins on canvas. The technique allows me to create effects of peeling paint, scratches and marks indicating age, weathering,accidents, vandalism and other human activities.These effects are intended to act as metaphors for interpretation.
