My work involves the development of a number of key interests. My goal is not so much to dictate my personal philosophies, although this does come through in the titles. Firstly, it is an assemblage of various experimental painting and photographic techniques mainly within an urban or industrialized context, and the extent to which the results can be used metaphorically. But also, and more importantly for me, it is both a spiritual practice and an exploration within my own subconscious world where I continuously attempt to access dreams as a resource for visual imagery.
