Bachelor of Arts Design (Honours) with a final accreditation of First Class Honours. Thesis covering textile design, illustration, installation art and Italian Literature, (Dante Alighieri ‘s ‘The Divine Comedy’). Curtin University of Technology.

2002

International Exchange NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Milan, Italy Fashion Design and Illustration Degree (2001-2002) received high distinctions and highest academic record for 3rd year illustration classes.



1999

1997

Completed a 15 month student exchange in the Veneto region, Italy. September 1996 to January 1998.

Completed one and a half academic years at the Nove Art Institute, Veneto, Italy.

Recipient of the People’s Choice Award for the City of Swan ‘Print Ed Exhibtion.

Recipient of the PAWA (Printmakers Association of Western Australia) Printmaker’s Award for 2005



2001    

Joint winner in a women’s lingerie design competition for Milanese textile             company Botto Biglietti, Milan, Italy.



2000

Recipient of the IFAC Arts Grant presented at the Perspectives exhibition hosted by the Art Gallery of Western Australia. (Train Carriage).





1999

Selected as one of 18 students state-wide to receive a John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship offered by Curtin University of Technology.

One of four exhibitors in the group show “Journeys” hosted by Greg Baker at Gooseberry Hill Studios in celebration of the gallery’s 10th anniversary.  



Designed and made the exhibition art piece for the Fra Angelico Exhibition, (for display at each annual exhibition from August 2007 onwards).

Commissioned by Catholic Arts (Catholic Education Department) formally commemorated and commissioned by the Archbishop of Perth.



Commissioned illustrator for Mr. S. Clements in his recent children’s book, to be published in London 2007. (Book One, completed January 2006)

Designing and constructing theatre sets for St Brigid’s College production, “The Popular Mechanicals” and designing the production’s promotional poster.
